About Us

Pain can change. Healing is possible.

We are a family of practitioners dedicated to providing you the highest possible care. We believe pain can change, that healing is possible, and that tailored one-on-one assessments and treatments are the fastest path to relieving pain and get back to the activities you love.

Our Story

Our family clinic was born in 2021 from the philosophy that we want to provide the highest quality physiotherapy and massage treatments. Because of this, we only ever work one-on-one with you, assessing to get to the root of the issue, and treating to help relieve pain for the long-term.

We are deeply grateful for the warm reception our clinic has received by the Prince George community. We are humbled by all the positive reviews. What began as one practitioner, is now a team, and we are continually growing and learning. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to support you along your healing journey. Thank you.

Hi, I'm David, a Physiotherapist and graduate of the Master’s of Physical Therapy program from the University of British Columbia.

While I happily treat all types of aches and pains, I have a particular interest in helping people with musculoskeletal injuries, lower back pain, sports injuries, and chronic pain.

My primary treatment techniques include manual therapy, IMS needling, mindfulness, bio-mechanical alignment and exercise science to help people relieve pain, heal injuries, and get back to the life they love.

Previous to working as a physiotherapist, I managed a health retreat in upstate New York, worked as a forest firefighter, and travelled to 19 countries around the world.

I was born and raised in beautiful Prince George and am grateful to be now raising my own family here. When not at work, I love camping in the exquisite northern forests with my wonderful family.

Part of all proceeds from my physiotherapy work go towards helping children around the world get off the streets and attain a higher quality of life through Plan Canada.

I look forward to meeting you!

Hi, my name is Vasko and I'm a physiotherapist and a PG local.

I finished my Bachelor of Health Sciences majoring in Biomedical Sciences at UNBC and then went on to become a graduate of the first class of the UBC Master of Physical Therapy - North Program hosted in Prince George at UNBC, where I did all my clinical practicums in the PG community. Before working as a physio, I was on our local Firehawks Unit Crew as a Wildland Firefighter and interned as a rehab assistant in Valencia, Spain for a summer.

I'm interested in many areas of rehab including treating low back pain, shoulder injuries, and other sports-related injuries. I am passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their condition. My philosophy of treatment extends beyond the walls of the clinic to finding out what activities my patients find meaningful and working to custom tailor my treatments to focus on getting patients back to doing things that are meaningful to them, whether it's playing with their grandchildren or hiking Teapot Mountain.

When I'm not working as a physio, you can find me trail running on Pidherny with my dog, Blue, wrenching on my car, or volunteering around my community including being a responder on the Canada Suicide Prevention Service, and managing the sandwich line at the Society of St. Vincent Dr. Paul.

I also look forward to continuing my professional growth with ongoing education and training in Women’s Health/Pelvic Health and Canadian Orthopaedic Division courses.

Women's Health & Yoga Therapist

Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm a Registered Physiotherapist & Yoga Therapist with a focus on women's health and persistent pain. I care for the women who come to see me with a “mindful physiotherapy” approach that’s gentle, heart-centered and tailored to your life. You are unique. Your body, history, life, love, home, and pain are unique. Your path forward is too.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your healing journey, inside and out. It's an honor.

Areas of practice include:

  • Persistent pain anywhere in the body that hasn’t responded to other forms of treatment.

  • Pre/postpartum care.

  • Pelvic pain (including painful sex).

  • Endometriosis/ Adenomyosis.

  • Incontinence.

Prior to returning to UBC for my Master's in Physiotherapy, I worked for 10+ years as a Yoga Therapist & Adult Sleep Coach and now incorporate this knowledge into my women's health practice.

When I'm not in the clinic I'm cuddled with my young family (& wonderful zany pup), doing yoga, deepening my understanding of gentle living, making big gluten-free veggie messes in the kitchen, gardening, and pausing to enjoy nature and life in all her glory.

A portion of the proceeds from each visit goes to supporting women's health, wildlife conservation, and other important needs in our community near and far. I invite you to be a part of this wider healing too.

I look forward to helping you reduce pain, increase vitality and presence, and love every day of your own beautiful life, even more.

Karl Domes, Registered Massage Therapist

20220925_165706_edited.jpg

Hi, I'm Karl, I graduated from Vancouver’s Langara College with a Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy in 2021. I'm excited to be channeling my passion for helping others through massage therapy, and I bring kindness and curiosity to my work.

I enjoy working with a diverse population and have experience helping patients meet a broad range of goals, including rehabilitating injuries, improving ease of movement, and reducing discomfort and pain. Whether big or small, I'm motivated to help patients achieve their goals through collaborative, patient-centered approaches to treatment. Modalities I use include Soft Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and Joint mobilization. Patients can expect to receive a treatment that is thoughtfully designed and tailored specifically to their needs.

I begin each session with a series of questions, which often includes a hands-on assessment component, to ensure that each treatment is as effective and safe as possible. During the treatment, I use a variety of techniques that can involve movement, stretching, and reassessment.

When not at work, I can be found gardening, playing music, adventuring outdoors, and spending time with family.
